Mark 50 years of Eco-Drive with the Citizen PHOTON BJ6569-59X, a limited edition men’s watch with a bold, modern look. The case and bracelet are Super Titanium™ with a DLC coating, which gives the watch a dark, hard-wearing finish and keeps it light on the wrist. At 39.6mm, it is comfortable for all-day wear. The black multi-layer dial has overlapping slits over a structural colour film, so colour and depth shift as the light hits it from different angles. Only 5,000 pieces were made worldwide, which makes this a collectable titanium watch.
The Eco-Drive Calibre E036 movement turns any light source into power, so this solar watch never needs a battery replacement. A full charge runs for up to 365 days. It also has an insufficient charge warning, an overcharging prevention function and a quick start function. Luminous hands and markers make it easy to read in low light, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal resists scratches, and 50 metres (5 bar) of water resistance covers swimming and everyday wear.
